Is there a return policy or exchange policy?

Yes, there is a return and exchange policy.  Returns are accepted by means of a store credit only as all sales are final.  Returns and exchanges are only accepted if the merchandise has not been worn or altered in any way.    You need to contact us within 7 days of receipt of your order.  See our REFUNDS, RETURNS, EXCHANGES and our STORE CREDIT policy section for further details.

What if I do not receive my merchandise?

We ship all merchandise via Priority Mail through U.S. Postal Service, which provides the convenience of tracking packages.   See our Shipping policy for further details. 

Why are Privileged Hair Extensions non-returnable if worn or altered?

Hair Extensions are hygienic products.  For the health, safety and protection of our clients, we have elected not to accept hair extensions that has been worn or altered in any way.  Other similar suppliers adapt the same policy.

How do I make an exchange/Return?

If you need to make an exchange of your purchase, contact us at within the seven (7) day exchange period. We will then issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. All Privileged Hair Extensions must be shipped back in the original packaging and the packaging must not be defaced in any way or an exchange will not be issued. All exchanges must be accompanied by a copy of your invoice.
We will then provide you with our return address which is in a facility that is closest to you where the exchanged item will be inspected to see if you qualify for an exchange. Worn or altered merchandise will not be exchanged.

Will I be responsible for the cost of the shipping of my exchange?

Yes, you are responsible for these shipping costs and we recommend that you send your merchandise via a tracked postage method. We are not responsible for lost returns. 

When will I receive my refund?

All sales are final, but we do issue store credits and allow exchanges once the merchandise has been accepted based on our REFUNDS, RETURNS, EXCHANGES and our STORE CREDIT policy.

May I return Privileged Hair Extensions without contacting you?

No.  The return address may be different from the address we ship our merchandise from.   Also, the RMA facilitates tracking of your returned product and expedites your exchange. Please note that exchanges for merchandise returned without contacting us will be denied.

How much hair will I need to create an entire style?

This answer will vary based upon your individual preferences. Most people will be able to use 8 to 9 ounces for lengths shorter than 18”. If you desire a more natural density, 7 ounces should be able to create an entire style for lengths up to 16”.  If you like your hair very full, or longer than 18", you will want at least 11 to 12 ounces. Four bundles or more will be a very, very, full style.

How do I know that my extensions are genuine PRIVILEGED HAIR EXTENSIONS?

They will come complete with our special packaging, hang tag and security seal.

Can I straighten my Curly or Wavy hair? 

 It is not recommended; however, you may straighten your curly or wavy hair if you really wish to.  The process may be time consuming due to how curly and wavy the patterns are.  If you must use a heating tool on your curly or wavy hair, we highly recommend that you first apply a quality heat protectant on your hair.  Your hair is 100% pure human hair so it is susceptible to heat damage just as your own hair.  Excessive application of heat will risk the chance of you losing the natural curl pattern of your hair.  If you desire to wear your hair straight, we suggest that you purchase our A pattern hair extensions.

How long will my extensions last?

If you care for your extensions correctly, they should last for many years.  Constant use of heat, coloring and application of alcohol based products, and improper care will significantly shorten the life span of the hair. 

What is Co-Washing?

Co-washing is a method of cleansing the hair with conditioner only and eliminates the use of shampoo.  Co-washing nourishes the hair with moisture and keeps the hair hydrated. 

Will it be obvious to others that I have extensions in place?

No, extensions should not be visible if they are placed correctly by an expert stylist.  They should blend with your own hair and be very discreet.  When you wear your hair up, just make sure you have not exposed any rows of extensions.

Can I call to place my order by phone?

Unfortunately, we do not take orders by phone; all orders should be placed online.

Can I purchase samples?

Yes, we offer samples.  You may place your sample order by going to the boutique and selecting the samples you desire.

What is the origin of the hair you carry?

Our hair comes from Southeast Asia.  You may visit our SOURCING ETHICS page for more detailed information.

Will my curly hair revert after I have straightened it?

Yes, it will revert back to its natural state but  please keep in mind that overuse of heat on the hair may cause heat damage, which will result in the loss of the natural curl pattern of the hair.

May I add color to my hair?

Yes, you may color your hair, however we recommend you have this process completed by a licensed cosmetologist that has expertise in hair coloring.  It is also recommended that the hair receive proper nourishment once it has been colored.  As we all know, hair coloring naturally dries out the hair making it brittle and causes split ends.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes, we offer expedited shipping.  Please refer to our Shipping and Delivery policy for detailed information.

Is shipping insurance automatically applied to my order?

Shipping insurance is not automatically.  An option is made available to purchase insurance at the time of checkout. 

What is the best texture to blend with my hair?

There are two things to look for when determining the best blend for your hair.  You should consider the hair pattern and the luster of the hair.  There are three main hair patterns and three lusters.  The patterns are straight, wavy and curly and the lusters are high, medium and low.  You may refer to our HAIR EXTENSIONS GLOSSARY for the definition of each term.   Please keep in mind that each bundle of hair comes from a different donor, and as such there will be slight variations in the pattern of each bundle.

How is the length of the hair measured?

Our Privileged Hair Extensions are measured when stretched out. We recommend ordering wavy hair 2 inches longer to accommodate your desired length.  And, when ordering curly hair, you may consider ordering 4-6 inches longer to accommodate your desired length.
